The good (?) news:
Canada's Conservative government announced their proposed Clean Air Act last week, which, along with a bunch of other stuff, aims to reduce greenhouse gases by 45 to 65% from 2003 levels by 2050.
The bad news:
The World Wildlife Fund just released a report predicting that we will have exhausted the Earth's resources by 2050.
