I was having lunch at Kim's today and overheard a boy (who was young enough to think his brother's screaming was hilarious) say to his dad, "Tomorrow is Earth Day." The father seemed disinterested, but the kid prevailed, "That means we have to keep the earth clean and green, right dad?" My heart warmed.

And don't forget the special Earth Day edition of Green Drinks! Everyone is invited to Double Decker for good cheer and good beer. I haven't booked the couches, as I'm not sure how many people will be showing up, but the usual time stands. 8pm until late. Hope you can make it.

Vigi Salon and Spa (724 10th Street) did a cut a thon at Neelin High School with proceeds (of over $500) going to the Eco Odyssey class in the name of Earth Day.
Also we are doing an awesome draw for an Aveda gift basket with proceeds from all tickets purchased going towards preservation of endangered and threatened plants. A petition is also available to be signed. For more info go to this link.
